What is a Gong Bath?

The gong bath (group meditation), a very old technique from Asia, is a sound bath that produces a feeling of well-being through the vibration of all the water contained in the body (our body is made of 70 to 80% water).

The sound vibrations emitted by the gongs send signals that are interpreted at the biological, energetic and emotional levels, indicating to the cells to develop in a homeostatic and no longer unbalanced way. The gong baths bring an intense feeling of relaxation and well-being and rebalance the energy paths.

Schedule

Program of the training

The aim of the Gong Bath training is to teach you all the necessary gestures, for group Gong Bath practice and individual Gong treatment (one-to-one).

This training, led by Swann assisted by Lydéric, is divided into 2 volumes, lasting 5 days each:

LEVEL 1

Swann will provide you with the theoretical and technical bases necessary for playing symphonic, planetary and Feng Gong gongs. You will learn the different types of tapping, rhythmic patterns and their meditative and therapeutic applications. Likewise, you will be given techniques for using other instruments in a Gong Bath: singing bowls, Rin bowl, koshis, rain tree, tingsha. You will need to practice seriously for several weeks to several months to practice gong practice. At the end of this personal learning phase, you will be ready for level 2.

Here is a non-exhaustive list of the main areas of learning:

· Theoretical module on the basics of sound therapy

· Learning and experimenting with different types of gongs (symphonic, planetary and elementary, Feng Gong)

· Learning & technical development of different types of strikes

· Movement technic

· Rhythm module and drones

· Different individual gong treatment techniques

· Structure of a group gong bath

· Work on complementary instruments: singing bowls, Rin bowl, koshis, rain tree, tingsha

· Contraindications

· Special cases

· Equipment maintenance and transportation

LEVEL 2

5 days of intensive practice to perfect your playing technique. You will learn new rhythmic and therapeutic patterns, as well as the sequences of these patterns, according to the different wave patterns you want to create.
You will go into detail about the different types of Gong Baths, and at the end of level 2 you will be able to play a full Gong Bath.

At the end of this 5-day level 2 course, you will be ready to pass your certification. The certification is a supervision of a Gong Bath that you will play in the presence of Swann at the end of the level 2 course. Once certified, you are advised to continue to practice seriously for several weeks to several months to practice the gong practice. You can start practicing professionally.

Sound healing cannot substitute medicine.
